 PORTFOLIO UPDATE 
 
 Northern AIM VCT PLC holds 229,750 ordinary shares of 1.25p in Aero 
 Inventory PLC which as at 30 September 2009 had a carrying value of 
 GBP628,400, equivalent to 2.8p per Northern AIM VCT PLC ordinary share. 
 
 On 26 October 2009 the shares in Aero Inventory PLC were suspended 
 from trading on AIM and on 11 November 2009 the board of Aero 
 Inventory PLC announced the appointment of joint administrators. On 
 the basis of the information presently available, the directors of 
 Northern AIM VCT PLC expect that the investment in Aero Inventory PLC 
 will be written down to a nil value in the audited balance sheet of 
 Northern AIM VCT PLC as at 31 October 2009.
