Sam Sinclair

I am the Head of Talent at NVM which involves working both pre-deal on due-diligence assignments, but also extensively with the existing portfolio on anything people related that helps accelerate the initial plan we backed. I currently represent NVM on the Board of Pareto FM, a high growth and disruptive facilities management business. I believe people make businesses and over thirty years we have built up an extensive network of advisors, non-executive board directors and consultants who we can deploy into a variety of situations to support management teams. In reality this could touch anything from recruitment and people, technology and systems transformation, turnaround and restructuring, management team development, growth strategies, M&A and everything in between!

After studying Ancient History at Leeds University, I briefly worked in the advertising industry before working as a consultant at two major executive search firms. For many years I helped build the Boards and management teams for a range of blue chip and early stage technology companies, with a particular focus on software and technology services.

Outside of work I can be found either playing golf, eating out or trying the latest fitness fad.

I understand the value that experienced chairs, directors and advisors can bring to early stage, founder run businesses and improving connectivity across the portfolio is something I find immensely rewarding.
