Chemigraphic is a design-led Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, working with OEM customers, from a number of different markets, to simplify their supply chain, satisfy their entire outsourced manufacturing requirements and reduce their time to market. The company has a particularly high presence in the radiology and medical imaging sector and are embedded with their customers who trust them to be involved in the very early stages of new product development for their most complex products. The majority of these customers have worked with them for more than 15 years and in many cases the company has become their sole-supplier providing a high-quality, reliable service.
Headquartered in Crawley, and with a second manufacturing site in China, the Chemigraphic team builds complex products for a wide range of specialist UK and global technology brands, from conception to production, supporting them at every stage of their product life-cycle. Chemigraphic originally began as a family business in 1972 and remained under family ownership until 2010. Chris Wootton, former Group Operations Director of Worldmark, joined the business as CEO in April 2017. He has a clear vision to scale the business globally and has a strong track record of creating value for his shareholders.
NVM’s investment has been used to buy out the previous investors and provide funding to open the site in China to give Chemigrahic’s global customers, local manufacturing capability for their operations in Asia.
Chemigraphic have invested in state of the art surface mount machines that can place 96,000 components per hour.
They build high specification electronics for blue chip customers such as Siemens, Bae and Elekta, that serve the medical, aerospace & defence and cybersecurity sectors.
Chemigraphic offer a unique Product Continuity Management tool that monitors component availability and pricing globally to ensure that customers can always get their product to market.
