Presteigne Broadcast Hire started out at Shepperton Studios in Surrey in 1991, by broadcast engineers who recognised the need for a reliable source of the best equipment on dry hire, audio, RF and systems rental. The business has gone from strength to strength proudly operating from two bases in the UK: one near Gatwick Airport serving the London area, the South, the Midlands and Wales, and one in Warrington serving Manchester, the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Each is equipped with the latest in technology and the best in engineering skills, and each provides round-the-clock technical support. Broadcasting does not keep to office hours, and neither does Presteigne’s commitment to its customers, wherever they are.

The Market

The UK broadcast hire industry is showing a robust recovery with a return to live events following the covid-19 pandemic, a trend which is is expected to continue.  Demand for Presteigne’s leading technology and high calibre engineers has led to significant growth year on year.

With NVM’s support the business has invested in an inventory of state of the art equipment, such as Ultra 4k capabilities, sought after by worlds largest broadcast event organisers.

Over and above dry hire, dedicated divisions for Projects and Managed Services, Audio and Comms and RF and Specialist Cameras are all now in place, highly regarded and headed by experts in their field. I am genuinely excited to be joining Presteigne and believe that I can bring a wealth of relevant experience and demonstrable success. I’m looking forward to working with the heads of the individual specialist divisions and existing and new international partners, to drive significant growth in 2023 and beyond.”
