The business has a 92% customer satisfaction rate and their offer includes personalised nutritional aftercare with every full test to ensure consumers are not left in the dark on how to put results into action. These 30-minute phone consultations look at health and current diet to help consumers replace any trigger foods with other nutritious alternatives.
As part of the transaction Richard Millman joined the Board as Non-Executive Chair. Richard is the former Managing Director of a PC World group business, part of the Dixon’s Retail Group and the former CEO of Total Fitness, the PE backed gym chain.
The Market
The UK home health diagnostic market continues to grow at speed (12- 15% growth p.a.) with an increased awareness of health, nutrition and wellbeing amongst the population. The investment from NVM is to be used to capitalise on this growth in consumer demand for at home health testing and build continued scale around YorkTest’s in-house laboratory, the most advanced tests in the market
