Inprova strengthens North West growth story with Housemark investment.

NVM has welcomed a significant milestone for Warrington-based Inprova Group, following Inprova’s investment partnership with Housemark, the leading data intelligence and insight provider to the UK housing sector.

As a technology-enabled procurement and efficiency partner, Inprova works with organisations across the public and private sectors to help manage spend more effectively, drive sustainable value and improve operational performance.

The transaction sees Inprova become the majority shareholder in Housemark, bringing together Housemark’s housing data and insight expertise with Inprova’s technology-enabled procurement and operational improvement capabilities.

Longstanding partners, the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and the National Housing Federation (NHF) will retain a shareholding in Housemark and continue to support its future development.

NVM first backed Inprova in November 2022 and has supported Steve Malone and the team as they have continued to scale a high-quality business with a clear purpose, strong culture and growing technology platform.

Andy Leach, Investment Partner at NVM, said: “Inprova is a great example of an ambitious, high-quality North West business that NVM is proud to support. The partnership with Housemark is an important next step in its growth journey, bringing together two organisations with complementary expertise and strong sector relationships.”

Steve Malone, Group Chief Executive of Inprova, said: “NVM’s backing has helped us invest in the capabilities that matter to our customers as we continue our vision of becoming the built environment’s definitive ‘performance partner’. Housemark has built an outstanding reputation as a trusted provider of data and insight to the housing sector. We have been impressed by the strength of the team, the quality of its products and the important role the business plays in helping organisations make informed decisions. This investment reflects our confidence in Housemark’s role and importance within the social housing sector and look forward to having Housemark as a valued part of the Inprova group.”

For NVM, this is another clear example of backing ambitious regional businesses with the potential to scale. From its Warrington base, Inprova continues to demonstrate the quality of enterprise and leadership in the North West, with the Housemark partnership creating a stronger platform for the firm’s next stage of growth.
