Alex Wilson

After graduating with a 1st class degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham, I joined PwC and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2009. 

I have 15 years’ corporate transaction experience both in the UK and Internationally, initially at PwC, then Rickitt Mitchell and most recently Mercia.  I have led transactions involving North-West success stories including, CurrentBody, Intechnica and Pimberly. 

I completed my first investment for NVM shortly after joining the team working with Mauro on NVM’s investment into Vegetarian Express. 

I am based in Manchester and responsible for sourcing and transacting new investments of between £10 – £20million with typical EBITDA levels of between £2 and £5million. 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my young family, playing golf and watching football. 

The North West is home to some of the most ambitious management teams in the UK who champion the region as the best place to scale businesses. With the continued support of the corporate finance community, and access to highly skilled employment markets, I am looking forward to the part I can play in growing NVM’s PE investment activity here in the North West.
