Sebastian McGill

I joined NVM in 2026 as an Investment Analyst in the London office. I support the investment team across the full deal cycle, from sourcing and evaluating new opportunities to executing transactions and working with portfolio companies across London and the South East.

I graduated from the University of Exeter with a First-Class degree in Business Economics. While at university, I helped manage a portfolio through Exeter’s AI Student Investment Fund. Alongside my studies, I founded my own business a social media marketing. Building a business from scratch gave me a first-hand understanding of the challenges founders face, and it’s a big part of why I enjoy working with ambitious management teams.

I’m excited to be starting my career in private equity at NVM, and I’m looking forward to working with talented entrepreneurs and ambitious management teams as they build and grow their businesses.

Outside of work, I play county-level rugby and compete in IRONMAN triathlons, most recently the 70.3 in Jönköping, Sweden. I also fundraise for Check In On A Mate, a charity that funds Mental Health First Aid courses in schools and universities.

 

Starting my career at NVM is a fantastic opportunity. Learning from such an experienced team while meeting the entrepreneurs behind some exciting businesses is exactly where I want to be.
